Roster: Link Your Schools

In order to roster data, we need to align your OneRoster ingested schools with schools that are part of the order entitlement system.

The more accurate you are with the platform selection, the more secure your data will be. This also eliminates unnecessary import errors that may be flagged for platforms that your organization is not even using.

Note: Be sure to map all orgs to which users belong. If you only map schools that have products, the users who may be enrolled in multiple schools (with and without products) will not get rostered unless all the orgs that they attend are mapped.

What if organizations or schools are missing from the list?

If orgs are missing or need to be removed, contact K12Inquiries.

When is it appropriate to select "Ignore" for a school or organization?

If you select "Ignore" for a school or organization, we skip the data processing and error management of that school or organization.

If you have multiple schools, we only manage data for the schools that are mapped.

If you have an organization that is mapped and then selects "Ignore" in this step, then we remove all data from the selected school.

To link your schools:

1. For each school that you want data managed, select the matching school from the list provided in the PLATFORM SCHOOL column.

2. For schools that you do not want managed, select Ignore in the list in the PLATFORM SCHOOL column. (For details about this option, see the FAQ section.)

3. If you want to limit what school data goes to a specific platform, use the check boxes in the PLATFORMS column to specify the platform(s) for each school.
