The Plan is the first step in the Writing Zone.
1. Choose Argument or Informative to begin your genre. Your Writing Prompt appears.
– Argument: Respond to a survey question. Your response creates the prompt for your writing. Click SUBMIT to enter the results and proceed to the prompt.
– Informative: You proceed to the Writing Prompt immediately, which becomes the topic sentence for your writing and guides you through the Write, Revise, and Publish steps of the Writing Zone. Click GO ON to proceed to the Write step.
As you proceed, you see a structure that supports the beginning of your narrative writing. Use the prompt to develop the details of your story
For example:
○ Who is the story about?
○ When does the story take place?
○ Where is the story set?
2. As you complete each level of the prompt, click Done to move to the next level or click Try Again to clear and rewrite your story.
3. When you finish the prompt, click GO ON to complete the Middle and End prompts using the same steps.
