Class Management

Using the Class Management page, you can view class and student profiles, edit student enrollments in programs, and view and edit READ 180 Universal program settings.

Important: Required fields are noted with an asterisk ( * ) and cannot be left blank.

Class Roster: The Class Roster page is the default page for Class Management. From the Class Roster, you can edit the class profile, view student profiles, or add a student.

To access the Class Roster page:

➔ From the READ 180 home page, click Class Management. The Class Roster page appears.

Class Profile: Using the Class Profile page, you can view and edit class settings entered using SAM.

To edit the Class Profile:

1. From the READ 180 home page, click Class Management. The Class Roster page appears.

2. From the Class Roster page, click Edit on the left pane. The Basic Information page appears.

3. Edit the Basic Information fields, as appropriate:

– Class Name

– Teacher 1 Name

– School

– Teacher 2 Name

– Grade(s)

4. Click Save to store the information or Cancel to close the Basic Information page without saving your edits.

5. Click Manage Application to view or edit the programs assigned to the class.

6. Click Save to store the information or Cancel to close the Basic Information page without saving your edits.

To add students:

1. From the READ 180 home page, click Class Management. The Class Roster page appears.

2. From the Class Roster page, click ADD STUDENT. A blank Basic Information page for a New Student appears.

There are five pages of information to complete for a new student: Basic Information, Demographics, Guardians, Classes, and Enrollments. The Basic Information and Classes pages contain required information fields that cannot be left blank.

3. Type the information for a new student on each page, as appropriate.

4. Click Save to store the information or Cancel to close the Basic Information page without saving your edits.

Note: You can click Save or Cancel on any of the five pages of information that you complete to add a new student.

Student Profile: Similar to the Class Profile, you can view and edit an individual student's profile.

To edit a student profile:

1. From the READ 180 home page, click Class Management. The Class Roster page appears.

2. From the Class Roster page, click the Select Profile drop-down menu and click a student name. The Basic Information page for the student appears.

There are five pages of information: Basic Information, Demographics, Guardians, Classes, and Enrollments. The Basic Information and Classes pages contain required information fields that cannot be left blank.

3. Click each of the five pages to edit the information, as needed, for a student.

4. Click Save to store the information or Cancel to close the Basic Information page without saving your edits.
