Help With Logging In

Students

These instructions are for not for single sign on (SSO) users.

Important: You must have your username and password prior to logging in.

If you have not yet received your username and password or if you have forgotten them, contact your teacher.

To log in to ThinkCentral:

  1. Open ThinkCentral at www-k6.thinkcentral.com. The ThinkCentral login page appears.
  2. Select your Country, State, District, and School. Your District may be your organization, diocese, or independent school name.
  3. If you are not a United States user, select your Country and School.

  4. If you want your browser to remember your Country, State, District, and School selections every time you log in on this computer, select the Remember my school check box.
  5. Type your User Name and Password.
  6. If you forget your user name or password or if your password fails, then ask your teacher to help you.

  7. Click Log In.
  8. Do you see the ThinkCentral home page?
    • Yes, you see the ThinkCentral home page. You are successfully logged in and ready to begin using ThinkCentral.
    • No, instead of the home page, you see a Set Your ThinkCentral Password dialog box. You are being asked to create your own password, so continue with the following steps:
      1. Type a new password that is easy for you to remember, using the following password rules:
        1. Minimum characters: 5
        2. Acceptable values: A–Z, a–z, 0–9, and supported symbols
        3. Case sensitive
        4. Must not contain spaces
        5. Examples: paswd, P@55word5
        6. Make sure that you can remember the password that you create because you will use it every time you log in to ThinkCentral.

      2. Retype your password, and then click the Save button. A confirmation box appears.
      3. Click Continue. The ThinkCentral home page appears.

Teachers

Note: If your organization uses single sign on (SSO) login credentials to access ThinkCentral, you simply log in once to access all of your organization's platforms. For non-SSO users, follow the ThinkCentral-specific instructions provided below.

Important: You must have your username and password prior to logging in.

  • If you are a newly added teacher, HMH sends you an email containing your user name. Your district administrator or school administrator should provide you with your password or instruct you to create your own password when you log in.
  • If you have not received your login credentials, contact your administrator. To maintain the security of your account, user passwords are not available to HMH.

Administrators

Note: If your organization uses single sign on (SSO) login credentials to access ThinkCentral, you simply log in once to access all of your organization's platforms. For non-SSO users, follow the ThinkCentral-specific instructions provided below.

Important: You must have your username and password prior to logging in.

  • Most administrator accounts are created by another administrator already using ThinkCentral. If this is the case, then you can obtain your login credentials from your administrator.
  • If there is no other administrator available to you, then you can contact HMH Technical Support via email at techsupport@hmhco.com.
    To maintain the security of your account, user passwords are not available to HMH.
