Set Calendar Preferences

You can set the preferences for holidays, school year, and grading period for your calendar.

To set Calendar preferences:

1.    Open Preferences.

2.    Click Calendar.

3.    The Calendar Preferences page opens.

4.    Enter the information as shown below (view a sample of completed calendar preferences).

5.    Click the Submit button at the bottom of the page to save your preferences or click Cancel to exit without saving the changes.

  1. Click Restore System Defaults to delete all the preferences you have set up and return to the blank settings.

  2. Select the holidays to be marked on your calendar.

  3. Select the first and last days of school. The terms in (5) must fall within these dates.

  4. When you select a number from the Grading Periods  list, that number of Enter Name fields appears below it and the number of terms with From and To drop-down lists appears at 5.

    Enter a name for each grading period in the Enter Name fields; for example, Fall, Winter, Spring for the three grading periods here.

  5. Select the From and To date for each term.
