Access iRead Support Materials

Several types of support material are available for you to learn more about the optimal use of the iRead software. To access the following iRead support materials, you must log in to Ed and select a program and class that allow you to access iRead.

To open the iRead Teacher Guide:

1. In the Ed banner, click the Discover tab and the HMH Resources tab, and then select the program to view from the program list.

2. In the Browse by panel on the left side of the page, click Connected Solutions. The Connected Solutions page appears.

If your selected program is Into Reading for Grade K, Grade 1, or Grade 2 and you have access to iRead, then the iRead card is displayed on the Connected Solutions page.

3. Locate the iRead card, and click View. The iRead Class Reports page appears.

4. On the left menu bar, click Quick Start Guide. The Quick Start Guide opens in a separate tab.

To open the iRead Professional Learning Modules:

1. In the Ed banner, click the Discover tab and the HMH Resources tab, and then select the program to view from the program list.

If your selected program is Into Reading for Grade K, Grade 1, or Grade 2 and you have access to iRead, then you can search for iRead content.

2. In the upper right corner of the page, click the search icon . A search field appears.

3. Type "iRead Professional Learning" in the search criteria field, and then click Search icon .

The Resources page appears with a list of all the Professional Learning resources for iRead in the selected program as well as the iRead Quick Start Guide.

Note: To further narrow the resources listed, you can use the Filter panel on the left side of the page. For more details, see the Filters section of the Navigate the Resources Page topic.

4. Locate a resource by scrolling through the list of resource cards, and then click Open button . The selected resource appears in a new browser window.
