Create and Manage Lessons

HMH Player allows you to create lessons using existing HMH content or without HMH content. Once you create a lesson using HMH content (HMH lessons), these lessons are known as Custom Lessons (original lessons).

Important: You cannot download Custom Lessons for offline use.

● HMH lessons: You can create lessons using existing HMH lessons that contain original copyright-protected content from the publisher. You cannot revise the HMH content but you can use HMH lessons in combination with slide material that you add to the lesson.

● Original lessons: You can create lessons, without using HMH content, but rather a series of slides with images, video, web URLs, files, and text that you assemble to create your own lesson content.

The procedure to create the two lesson types are similar, with the difference of using HMH content to start the custom lesson or creating a lesson with your own materials only. You can use both types of lessons separately or together in a class.
