The assignments in Holt McDougal Online allow you to tailor activities for classes and individual students.
● You choose the work, the assignees (the whole class or individuals), and the due date for assignments.
● You can select a number of options for tests. (For default test settings, see Set Default Test Preferences.)
● For a type of assignment, you can view either all assignments or only those that have been assigned.
There are several types of assignments teachers can use.
● Tests and Quizzes — Available with most online textbooks, these are the most common assignments
● Homework — Often available with the online textbook
● Daily Intervention — Warm-up exercises for students who can use the extra preparation or follow-up work to enhance mastery
● Standards-Based Intervention — Tools to help students prepare for standards testing
● Course Intervention — Extra work to prepare for or master coursework, often included with the textbook
● Performance Tasks — This assignment is available for Collections programs
● Assignable Activities — Activities teachers can assign in Collections
● Teacher Created Assignments — Activities the teacher creates and then attaches to a course and book
● Unassociated Uploaded Tests — Teacher created tests that you can associate the test with a course and book
● Offline Activities — Assignments with no online component for which the teacher can record scores
